How saving works
What to know
The official FAQ says the host stores the world's progress. Other players participate in that session, but they do not take ownership of the same world save simply by joining.
There is no need to look for a manual save button during normal play. The important operational rule is remembering who hosted the world and using that person's save when the group returns.
02 · Steps
Continue your existing world
What to know
The returning host chooses the existing save rather than creating a new world. They can select the appropriate group configuration again and then invite friends after the world is available.
Players may rejoin even if the exact group changes. The setup choice affects challenge configuration; it is not a permanent cap on who can later enter the session.
- Use the same host as the previous session
- Load the existing world save
- Wait until the host has entered the world
- Invite friends or share the new Join Code
- Check Lost & Found for recoverable items

Items and Lost & Found
What to know
A returning player who cannot immediately find an important carried item should check Lost & Found. This is safer than experimenting with save deletion, unofficial migration tools or file replacement.
The current source pack does not support cross-platform save transfer or changing the owner of a world. Do not delete the original host save while trying to move progress.
What this guide does not claim
Community labels are not presented as official names. Approximate coordinates stay marked as approximate, version-sensitive facts need a publication-day check, and no unsupported platform, code, solo route or mod-only shortcut is invented.
