01 · Steps
How to join across platforms
What to know
The host opens a world and friends can join through the supported friend flow or a Join Code. A Join Code is a multiplayer room code, not a reward or redemption code.
- Make sure the host has entered the world
- Check that everyone is on a supported platform
- Compare the relevant version numbers
- Share the host's Join Code if the friend list does not work
02 · Guide notes
Version compatibility
What to know
The official FAQ says the first two sections of the version number must match for cross-platform compatibility. If joining fails, completely restart the game on both sides before creating a fresh attempt.
What this guide does not claim
Community labels are not presented as official names. Approximate coordinates stay marked as approximate, version-sensitive facts need a publication-day check, and no unsupported platform, code, solo route or mod-only shortcut is invented.
