What to know
A reasonable planning range for a first run is about 12–15 hours. PC Gamer's review context and aggregated player discussion support that range, but it is not a promise from House House or Panic.
Big Walk is unusually sensitive to group behavior. A focused pair that communicates clearly may move faster than a large group that spends more time wandering, regrouping and experimenting.

Puzzle speed is only one factor. Your group size, familiarity with the island, willingness to use hints and the amount of optional exploration can all change the result.
Transport progress matters as well. Opening tunnels and trains reduces repeat travel, while an early group that misses a landmark may spend much longer crossing the same areas.
